Our Impact
Scaling Impact & Responding to Community Concerns
Through annual statewide grantmaking, research, and policy, the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota drives systems change for gender and racial justice. We build power with statewide communities who experience the greatest disparities so that women, girls, and gender-expansive people thrive.
What We Aim to Achieve
We find solutions with communities and begin with research. We scale impact by listening and responding to community concerns and leading systems change in four areas:
Research & Evaluation
Through qualitative and quantitative research and evaluation, the Women’s Foundation can better understand the lives of women and girls within communities, identify assets and barriers, and fund solutions.

National Impact & Partnership
The Foundation engages in collaborative funding and partnerships both within Minnesota’s foundation community and nationally.
One of our key roles is driving gender and racial justice in Minnesota using a collective-impact framework to build effective cross-sector partnerships. We know that no one sector can solve pressing community issues alone. The Foundation has the credibility, reputation, and track record of success to build effective cross-sector partnerships and galvanize resources to drive gender and racial justice and build pathways to economic security for the women and girls in our state who need it most.
