It’s Her Right

Living a safe and healthy life in Minnesota includes reproductive justice, a critical right for women, girls, gender-expansive people, and their families. The Women’s Foundation of Minnesota trusts and invests in women, girls, and gender-expansive people and their right to self-determination, which includes healthcare decisions about their bodies. From our research and listening to community stories, we know that Black, Indigenous, women of color, and those in greater and rural Minnesota already face immense barriers to safe and accessible reproductive health care resources. The recent threat of overturning Roe v. Wade by the Supreme Court will only deepen those barriers and harm the health, well-being, and economic futures of communities already pushed to the margins. We stand with our partners and communities leading and fighting for reproductive justice across our state and invite allies in philanthropy to join us in learning and amplifying to cultivate more abundant futures together.
