Through a shared experience of curated trainings, Council members will have an opportunity to accelerate learning and offer wisdom and expertise to advance gender and racial equity.

I will engage in active listening and individual learning through shared training experiences at Council meetings.

2. Shift Systems

Council members commit to shifting systems from within by creating inclusive, equitable workplace policies and culture that allow the growing workforce of young women of color to thrive. Council members will conduct an organizational inventory to identify trainings, small actions, and changes to policies that lead to larger systems change.

I commit to applying individual learnings to my own institution to shift the organizational culture and increase gender and racial equity.

3. Create Pathways

Council members build meaningful relationships with cohorts of young women, using their influential networks to become mentors and sponsors who invest in the success of young women.
