Women’s Foundation of Minnesota Announces Promotions and New Staff

Today, the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota (WFMN) announced one staff promotion, one staff transition, and the addition of three new staff members.

Staff Transitions:

Lulete Mola was promoted to Vice President of Community Impact on June 18. She joined the staff as Director of Community Impact in June 2017. In this executive leadership role, Lulete will lead the implementation and management of the Foundation’s grantmaking, evaluation, leadership, and field building programs that enable large scale systems change.

Jess Kubis transitioned from Communications Manager to Development Manager on March 5. Jess has been with the Foundation since 2012. In her new role, she supports fundraising from foundations and corporations, and coordinates volunteer and campaign efforts, and donor stewardship.

New Staff:

Jamara Cheek joined the Foundation as Reatha Clark King Fellow | YWI MN Program Manager on June 7. Cheek leads the coordination and management of WFMN’s  Young Women’s Initiative of Minnesota (YWI MN).

Ruby Oluoch joined the Women’s Foundation as Communications Project Manager on June 18. She will develop, implement, and drive communications project management, and provide support to execute the annual communications plan.

On July 2, WFMN Innovator Cynthia J. Zapata joins the Foundation as the Wenda Weekes Moore Intern. She will support the Program and Advancement departments and spend four weeks at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation in Battle Creek, Michigan.
