Women’s Foundation of Minnesota Announces New Staff and Promotions

Today, the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota announced the addition of one new staff member and promotions of three existing staff members.

New Staff

The Women’s Foundation has named Aileen Seoane as Senior Development Officer. In this position, Seoane will build and grow the Foundation’s professional advisors network and planned giving programs and work directly with donor-partners to meet their philanthropic goals. Seoane’s fundraising portfolio includes Mayo Clinic and Project for Pride in Living, as well as political and foundation engagement. She helped found the Latino Economic Development Center and has helped build diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives at various institutions. Seoane graduated from Oberlin College and holds an MBA from Augsburg College.

Promotions

The Women’s Foundation of Minnesota has promoted Andrea Satter from Program Officer to Development Officer. In this position, Satter will lead the Foundation’s corporate sponsorship and advancement events efforts. Satter helped lead the Foundation’s grantmaking since joining the staff in 2014.

Amanda Storm Schuster has been promoted from Senior Director of Advancement to Vice President of Advancement. Schuster joined the Foundation staff in 2016.

Heidi Walsh has been promoted from Director of Finance & Human Capital to Vice President of Finance and Operations. Walsh has been a member of the Foundation staff since 2005.
