2024 Status of Women & Girls+ Launch Presentation

On March 6, the Women’s Foundation presented key insights from the 2024 Status of Women & Girls+ in Minnesota. President & CEO Gloria Perez was joined by the lead researcher on the report, Dr. Christina Ewig from the University of Minnesota Humphrey School of Public Affairs’ Center on Women, Gender and Public Policy and Ruth Richardson, President & CEO of Planned Parenthood North Central States.

While the data is often disheartening, panelists reminded us that the research is not an end, but a tool for action. This data-informed, intersectional approach is how we create impact together – to tackle systemic change, reverse inequities, and resource solutions that are rooted in justice and the power of our state’s communities.

If you didn’t get a chance to tune in, learn more about the findings and solutions that live in our state’s communities.
