About the Event
Join us for the next Community Connect on Thursday, January 8, from 10:30 – noon.
Community Connect is an informal biannual gathering for community partners from across the state to learn, share, and build community together. You’ll hear updates from WFM, including about our new common grant reporting, and get a chance to connect with other community partners, share input, and strengthen our shared movement for gender and racial justice.
In the next virtual gathering, Research in Action will share the preliminary findings from the Justice in Institutions for Black Women, Girls, and Femmes statewide survey—your first chance to hear what more than 750 respondents shared about their experiences. This gathering relaunches our virtual connection space and centers partnership, community expertise, and the voices of Black women, girls, and femmes. This will not be a “sit and get” presentation—you’ll participate in a data-walk–style reflection, with small breakout groups that create space to react to the findings, lift up lived experience, and explore what these results mean for our work across economic justice, leadership, safety and holistic well-being, and reproductive justice.
If you have any questions about the event, please contact communityimpact@wfmn.org.
