This #GivingTuesday, Take a Stand for Minnesota Women with Prosperity Together
Nationwide Coalition of Public Women’s Foundations Seeks to Change America’s Response to Poverty
On Nov. 28, Prosperity Together, a nonpartisan coalition of 29 public women’s foundations dedicated to improving the economic security of low-income women and their families in America, is engaging communities across the country in a one-day #GivingTuesday campaign.
GivingTuesday is a global day of giving that encourages collective action and philanthropy to improve their communities, give back in better, smarter ways to the charities and causes they believe in, and help create a better world.
With your gift to the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota on November 28, you are joining the coalition’s commitment to increase education and job training opportunities, good-paying jobs with benefits, and access to affordable, quality childcare that ensure pathways to prosperity.
With Prosperity Together, the Women’s Foundation seeks to profoundly change America’s response to women’s economic hardship, state-by-state. In 2015, the coalition announced a collective five-year, $100 million commitment to invest in innovative programs across the country that are creating pathways to economic success for women and their families. This #GivingTuesday, Prosperity Together invites all Americans to stand with public women’s foundations including the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota and #ProsperityTogether by giving donations, goods, their time, or their voice.

Together, we are dismantling the barriers that stand in the way of opportunity, safety, and leadership for all women.”
