Women’s Foundation Announces Grants Information Sessions
Foundation to convene eight GISs in July and August

MINNEAPOLIS -- In July and August, the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota will hold eight Grants Information Sessions (GIS) to publicize its available funding opportunities. At the sessions, Foundation staff will also offer helpful tips on how to write effective grant proposals, and attendees will have the opportunity to network with other groups that are working with women and girls in their area.

A GIS taylored for immigrant and refugee communities will be held in the Twin Cities on August 19. The final GIS on August 26 will be a collaboratively presented by the Women's Foundation, Headwaters Foundation for Justice, and PFund Foundation.

Minnesota nonprofits seeking funding to advance economic, social and political equality for women and girls are encouraged to attend.
