The purpose of this case study is to tell the story of the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota’s (the Foundation) bold launch of a campaign to end the sex trafficking of girls in Minnesota. By interviewing various stakeholders and weaving together foundational documents, this study chronicles the Foundation’s strategic approach to supporting a cross-sector, broad-scale effort. This study is offered as a guide to inform future such efforts of the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota, as well as other women’s foundations and philanthropies as they consider the design and launch of single-issue campaigns in response to complex issues.
