CNN – PART THREE: Children forced into sex slavery

In April 2012,  Women’s Foundation of Minnesota president and CEO, Lee Roper-Batker, and several of our MN Girls Are Not For Sale grantee-partners — including Vednita Carter (Breaking Free) and John Choi (Ramsey County Attorney’s Office) — participated in the CNN Freedom Project: Ending Modern Day Slavery. We have eagerly awaited the release date of this three-segment series that features the important work of our statewide partners to end the prostitution of girls in Minnesota and across the nation. Watch video below or at CNN.

The third and final segment aired on Oct. 6 (link, below). Catch up online with the first segment, Rescuing child sex slaves in Minnesota, and the second segment, Selling children for sex online.
