FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: WEDNESDAY, JULY 1, 2006

MINNEAPOLIS - The Women’s Foundation of Minnesota is now accepting online applications for girlsBEST (girls Building Economic Success Together) planning grants through October 13, 2006.

In total, the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota will distribute $50,000 in girlsBEST planning grants. Available only to new groups seeking funding, the planning grants will provide up to $5,000 per group to develop new programs and approaches to building the next generation of the girlsBEST initiative.
