GRANTMAKING | Social Change Fund

Through the Social Change Fund, the Women's Foundation funds nonprofits and projects across the state working to advance women's equality through social change.

In order to create social change, the organizations we fund focus on changing the institutions and policies, and the attitudes and behaviors, that have created barriers to economic, social and political equality for women.

We award grants and evaluate program effectiveness in five Cornerstone Areas — categories we consider essential to affecting lasting social change for women and girls, including:

1. Economic Justice

2. Safety & Security

3. Health & Reproductive Rights

4. Political Power
