Vision Statement: In the future women will thrive economically. Communities will benefit when women - as a result of education, employment opportunities, and economic development - make poverty history.

Outcomes:
  • Increase access to planning and entrepreneurial resources.
  • Increase number of women in non traditional trades and underrepresented sectors.
  • Reduction in pay gap between women and men.
  • Reduction in pay gap between women of color and white women, in all major racial and ethnic groups.

  • Most low-income individuals in Minnesota are women.
  • The lowest wages of all Minnesota women are among Hispanic women, who also are the least likely to be educated. 
  • Asian American women in Minnesota are almost 10 percentage points less likely to have a two- or four-year college degree than they are nationally.
