How are women and girls faring in your Minnesota community?

In June, the Women's Foundation of Minnesota visited a greater Minnesota city near you! Beginning in the Twin Cities on June 17 and ending in Minneapolis on July 28, the Women's Foundation invited you to be our guests at community presentations held in eight cities across the state (schedule below).

We shared key findings from our new research, Status of Women & Girls in Minnesota, and learned from you how well the new data represents what’s happening for women and girls in your community.

Status of Women & Girls in Minnesota is an ongoing collaborative research project of the Women’s Foundation and the University of Minnesota’s Center on Women & Public Policy. Annually, data specific to Minnesota women and girls is gathered and analyzed in economics, safety and security, health and reproductive rights, and political power and leadership. The project expands the available data on women and girls, provides ongoing trend analysis, raises public awareness, and improves policy responses to the needs of women and girls in Minnesota.
